Head of Faculty, Maths and Computing

required for September 2024

We are looking for a Maths teacher who is utterly passionate about their subject to lead our faculty from September.   The sky is the limit with the faculty, as it is packed with fabulous teachers, has a great team spirit and is popular and highly respected by our students, who achieve very highly.  The successful applicant will be an excellent Maths teacher with high academic standards. They will be a caring, collaborative, and wise leader who will embody the values and ethos of our school and will relish the opportunity to lead a real ‘flagship’ faculty, whilst contributing to wider whole-school strategy.  The role is supported by a Computing Head of Department and Maths TLR roles.

Teacher of Spanish for September 2024

Part Time or Full Time (0.5 FTE or more to suit you)

We are looking for a caring and capable Spanish teacher who will share our ethos of guiding our pupils to achieve their personal bests, by providing an enjoyable, supportive and academically rigorous classroom experience. The successful applicant will love their subject, be a team player and will be passionate about helping our girls to flourish.

This is an opportunity to join our highly experienced, successful, collaborative and friendly Modern Foreign Languages Faculty – an ideal place to thrive and develop as a teacher, whether newer into the profession or very experienced.   The Spanish Department is supportive, has a great team spirit and attains very strong results. We have a good degree of flexibility, so Part Time from 0.5 upwards to Full Time is available.

Learning Support Assistant (SEND)

32 hours a week over 5 days. Term time only, 38 weeks/year.

(Some flexibility with start and finish times.)

Pay range 3 (£27,310 - £29,295 FTE / £19,258 - £20,658 salary based on 32 hours per week)

We have a wonderful opportunity to work as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) as part of our friendly and very capable special educational needs (SEND) and pastoral team.  The role will provide learning support to individuals and groups of students and will include some routine record keeping and admin.  The girls are a real privilege and joy to work with.  The post will suit someone with a friendly and supportive disposition and with a real commitment to providing the best possible support for young people, and an enthusiasm to develop SEND knowledge and expertise. Sound administrative and organizational abilities are also needed.
