My name is Eesha, and I joined Challoner's High as a new student to the Sixth Form. I studied Geography, History and Politics, and am now studying Law at the University of Birmingham. My student experience at Challoner’s was exceptional; greatly enhanced by being given the opportunity to take up the position of Deputy Head Girl of Operations in the Head Girl Team. I'd advise all students to fully immerse themselves in Sixth Form life at Challoner’s. Even if you're new, the slightly smaller teaching classes and highly engaging teachers work to your advantage, easing you into the new environment.
Studying in the Sixth Form at Dr Challoner’s High School is a highly academic, dynamic and fulfilling experience.
If you qualify for our Sixth Form you have already achieved academic success. We will support you as you step into the new world of A Levels studies while preserving the best of our fun and collaborative culture. Girls make more progress at Challoner's High than any other school in Bucks, Our students tell us that the thing they most value from their Sixth Form experience is the freedom they are given to be themselves and the self-confidence they develop which sets them up for life.
Studying for A Levels is arguably the most important stage of your school career; your grades, experience and personal development will likely determine the university, course or employment you go on to attain.
At Challoner’s High we have a tradition of academic excellence but we are just as passionate about your own personal development. Research shows that girls learn best in a single sex environment and we believe you are more likely to follow your own individual interests, values and passions when you are support to be yourself, free from gender stereotypes.
That’s why we plan our Sixth Form timetable around you, not the other way around, running subjects for small numbers and ensuring smaller class sizes, even for popular subjects, to support your learning and provide an insight into university style seminar teaching.
Following a review of our Sixth Form earlier this year we are now also creating a comprehensive careers and life after Challoner’s High support programme to help you develop the skills and personality much in demand by employers. Academic results will get you interviews, but who you are will get you the job and help you achieve your dreams.

My name is Nia and I have been at Challoner's High since Year 7. I study Drama, English Literature and Spanish at A level and I am going to audition for drama schools next year. Whilst this isn’t a conventional route, I have been greatly supported in my career choice by the school. I have thoroughly enjoyed Sixth Form at Challoner's High due to my teachers’ passion for their subjects. Their love for their subjects and their determination to show us how fascinating they can be has developed my own interest in those subjects immensely
