Ad Hoc Cover Supervisor
Hours per week: No set or guaranteed number of hours.
Contract terms: Zero Hours Contract, £16.00 per hour
We are seeking to recruit one or more enthusiastic and reliable Ad Hoc Cover Supervisors to join our school team. This important role plays a key part in ensuring continuity and stability for our students during periods of short-term teacher absence. By stepping in to deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain a focused classroom environment, Cover Supervisors also help reduce the workload on our teaching staff. The girls in our school are hardworking, polite, respectful and very rewarding to work with.
The role involves taking sole responsibility for a class of students, managing behaviour, and supporting learning in line with the school's policies. The successful candidates will have experience of working in a school setting—perhaps as a teaching assistant, cover supervisor, coach, teacher, or in a similar capacity. Strong communication skills, confidence in managing a classroom, and a professional, adaptable approach are essential. Full training will be provided, and you will be supported by a friendly and experienced team.

Teacher of Chemistry
September 2025
Part time (0.4 – 0.6 depending on your preference)
We are seeking a well-qualified and inspirational teacher to join our Science team, teaching Science at KS3 and Chemistry at GCSE and A Level. Chemistry is a successful, thriving, and highly regarded subject in our school, and it is our third-largest A Level.The Science team are superb; highly experienced, utterly passionate and very friendly. Chemistry is led by an experienced Head of Department and supported by a longstanding and very knowledgeable technician.
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate teacher who will inspire our students and enable them to achieve their personal bests. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for Chemistry and a strong desire to share this passion with our girls. You will be teaching highly motivated, inquisitive, and hard-working students as part of an outstanding team. We can offer part time between 0.4 – 0.6 FTE.
