Founded in 2011, The Challoner’s Girls Foundation (CGF) is an independent Charity that has proved invaluable in supporting the education of the girls at Dr Challoner’s High School and was created to enable our school community to support our school.
Our aim is to provide the best possible education for all of our girls. Our tradition of excellence will never change and is underpinned by our belief that girls learn best when all are valued, inspired, curious and happy. Our dedicated teaching staff are central to this.
We also believe that the very best schools should have the best resources and facilities. This is only possible through the financial donations made by many of our parents and the wider school community to the Challoner’s Girls Foundation.
We are hugely grateful to our supporters who contribute what they can to this fund.

Here are just some of the examples of how the CGF Annual Fund supports us:
Laptops provided for every student as they join Year 7 with Office 365, Teams and many digital learning resource packages.
Robust and secure network monitoring and safeguarding with specialised onsite technical support.
Strong student support and wellbeing in place from in-house school counselling, to “Essentials for parents” and students lectures, to extra curricular activities such as cookery school as well as further SEN support.
Plus, school refurbishments and equipment
The Foundation’s support enables us to give every student the opportunity to have access to all of this and more….
Teams of hard working volunteers have also enabled our income to grow year on year.
