Our Parent Volunteer Hub has been set up in order to enable parents to get involved in our many volunteering opportunities, based on their time and interest.
This could be to lead or be part of a one-off event, to get involved supporting school socials, school productions/music events, join our fund-raising initiative or just help out on an ad hoc basis.

Year 8 Disco – will be on Friday, 28th February. Parents can purchase tickets on Parentpay. Ticket sales will close on Monday, 24th February at midday. A reminder to parents to also complete the online consent form shared in the weekly comms.
Next Eco-Uniform shop sale – The sale is a student sale on Tuesday, 28th January. Plenty of ‘new’ stock in! The sale will take place in the Garden Rooms at break and lunchtime. This is sale for students only and they should bring cash.
The Quiz Night returns, Friday 21st March- The Quiz Night has always been a firm favourite with our school parent community and gives parents and teachers the chance to join us for an evening of plenty of laughs and light-hearted rivalry! Our fabulous Quiz Masters from 2024 are returning and Chef Haydn will be providing delicious food. Tickets are £20 per person (including Quiz entry and a 2-course meal) on sale now on Parentpay. Teams can be up to 8 people and you can either book as a team or book individually and we will place you in a team. Ticket sales close on 3rd March. Happy quizzing!!
Christmas Fayre – Thank you to everyone who got involved with the Christmas Fayre held back in November. We raised over £8000 to support the Challoner’s Girls Foundation, which is fantastic, however, this event isn’t just about the fundraising. It is also a great chance for our fabulous school community to come together. Thank you again to our amazing Parent Volunteer Hub team for organising and to everyone who came along!
Alumnae Day, Saturday, 29th March. Are you a Challoner’s High Alumnae and would love to come back and have a trip down memory lane? There will be some old classrooms, that will not have changed and some cutting-edge new facilities to see! The event takes place from 2pm-4.30pm where we will be giving tours and have plenty of memorabilia out on display. If you are celebrating a special anniversary since leaving the school (perhaps its 5,10 or 40 years since you left) please do get in touch as they are quite a few reunions being planned on that day. Other regular events include: Providing refreshments at our many school events e.g. End of year celebrations, Year 7 Welcome Supper, School plays.
This shop has been set up by parent volunteers and provides a source of good value second-hand uniform.
These are events that may take place every couple of years or on an ad hoc basis, recent events have included our 60th Anniversary Ball, held in June 2022.
There are currently no external events running.
