Head of Development Vacancy: We are looking for a Head of Development, ideally from January, to develop and manage short and long term development programmes which will result in philanthropic income. The post-holder will encourage a “habit of giving” from the school’s communi-ty, including alumnae, resulting in the giving of expertise and practical support as well as income from regular annual gifts, major and smaller gifts, sponsorship and legacies. The post will report to the Assistant Head, Development and will be supported by two part time assistants. The role will suit an experienced development professional who will be able to build constructive relationships with parents, students, staff, local businesses, alumnae and other potential donors.

Swimmers Off To The Finals: The Senior and Junior swimming teams have qualified for the 58th ESSA Secondary School Team Championships finals to be held on Saturday 21st November at the London Aquatic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Park. It is a fantastic achievement! Good luck to all the girls , DCHS are very proud of you.

Adventure Talk for Alex—Tuesday 10th November at 8.00pm in the hall. In 2013 Hannah Walsh set off to walk around the perimeter of Wales with all her kit carried by Chico, a donkey. Tickets are only £10.00, payable on the door, under-18s are free.
